Handcut and polished Silkstone cabochon, and handcrafted fine silver (.999) and sterling silver pendant - 1.25" x 2.25". Silkstone/Binghamite was discovered in 1936, and only found in the Cuyuna iron range in Minnesota. It is quartz and jasper, with fibers of hematite and goethite, and in colors of red, gold, and black. The Cuyuna iron range has been closed for many years, so this stone is fairly rare.
Metaphysical Properties- Silkstone is worn as protection from spirits.
